Set up your charity access – it's FREE!
If you represent a registered NZ charity, look it up below. We'll email a single-use verification link to the contact address officially listed for your charity on the NZ Charities Register — only someone with access to that inbox can finish setting up your iGave account. Once you're verified, you'll connect your charity to Stripe and enter the charities bank account details on Stripe's own secure, PCI-validated form — iGave never sees or stores them. Supporters' donations are then paid directly to your charities bank account, and a charity can't receive donations until this payout setup is complete.

How verification works
We verify you represent a charity before any iGave account can manage it. Anyone can start the request, but only your charity's actual representative can finish it — here's the process:
- 1Look up your charity by its CC registration number to confirm it's the right organisation on the NZ Charities Register.
- 2We email a single-use link to the contact address officially listed for that charity on the Register — not to an address you type in. This is what proves the request is genuine.
- 3The registered contact opens the email and follows the link. It's valid for 30 minutes and can only be used once.
- 4Create or log in to an iGave account at the link — this is when the account is made. Only someone who reached this link (i.e. who controls the charity's inbox) can complete it.
- 5You're linked as the representative automatically and taken to your charity dashboard. No manual admin approval needed.
If your charity has no public contact email on the Register, automatic verification isn't possible — you'll be prompted to email support@igave.co.nz for manual verification.
50% of our net earnings goes back to the community
iGave isn't here to take the most — it's here to give the most. A fee applies to charities only if they choose to run a dedicated fundraising campaign through iGave and we commit half of all our net earnings straight back into New Zealand communities. Fundraising campaigns a charity launches doesn't just support a single cause — it helps fund others. Giving on iGave gives twice.
